If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or just not quite like yourself… you don’t have to keep pushing through it alone. This is a space where we slow things down and work through things - gently, at your pace.

You might be:

  • overthinking everything and finding it hard to switch off

  • feeling emotionally tired or stretched too thin

  • stuck in patterns you can see, but can’t seem to shift

  • wanting things to change, but not sure where to start

You don’t need to explain everything perfectly. We just begin with what’s there.

How I work

Our sessions are really about creating a space where you can feel a bit more settled - and from there, things can start to shift.

We might:

  • talk through what’s been going on

  • notice what your body is holding onto

  • gently work with that, rather than pushing past it.

There’s no pressure to go deeper than you want to.

What is kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a gentle way of working with your body and nervous system. It uses light muscle testing to help understand what your system might be holding onto - stress, patterns, or responses that don’t feel good anymore.

From there, we support your body to let some of that go, in a way that feels manageable.

You don’t need to “get it” for it to be helpful.

A few important things

  • You’re in control of the session

  • You can say no, pause, or change direction at any time

  • You don’t have to share anything you’re not ready to.

This isn’t about pushing or fixing. It’s about giving your system the space it needs.

I offer 1:1 in person sessions designed to help you explore what’s going on for you in a practical, supportive way.

In our work together, we might:

  • slow things down and make sense of what you’re experiencing

  • identify patterns that are keeping you stuck

  • develop tools to manage stress, emotions, and challenges

  • create small, meaningful shifts that build over time

This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you understand yourself and find what works for you.

Sessions are collaborative, respectful, and tailored to you. Some people come in feeling unsure where to start. Others have something specific they want to work through. Both are completely okay.

We begin with a conversation about what’s going on. Then we use kinesiology to explore stress patterns in the body and support your system to gently shift and release what’s ready

Over time, many people begin to:

  • feel more clear and less overwhelmed

  • respond to challenges with more confidence

  • feel more connected to themselves and their needs

Change doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen.

    Hi, I’m Laura.

    I’m a qualified practitioner in kinesiology and mind-body medicine, and I created Kind Self Wellness to offer a space that feels steady, respectful, and genuinely supportive.

    My approach is grounded in understanding how stress affects both the brain and body - and how change happens more sustainably when we work with the nervous system, not against it.

    You won’t be pushed, analysed, or expected to “fix” yourself here.

    We work together, at a pace that feels manageable.
